It helps, if you're going to read this blog, to become familiar with Lisa's book Shape Shifting--reclaiming your perfect body but it's not necessary. It's also helpful if you're familiar with metaphysics and/or the writings of Neale Donald Walsch, Abraham-Hicks, Wayne Dyer, Carolyn Myss, Louise Hay, etc. Or, perhaps you've just seen the movie The Secret and wonder what this Law of Attraction stuff is all about!
Lisa's book is available in multiple formats, one for every budget. You can buy the paperback, spiral-bound or ebook version by following the links below. If you have no budget, and would like to do an "energy exchange" for a copy of the ebook, all you have to do is email Lisa and tell her that you would like to trade an ebook for a promise to "pay it forward" by performing a random act of kindness.
The Shape Shifters Workbook is now available, and the audio book on CD is in the works!

This blog post is the monolog from my most recent show which featured an INCREDIBLE guest, Stephen Lewis. Stephen is the founder of a holographic healing center called EMC2 that not only does amazing work, but has also earned the solid endorsements of Wayne Dyer and Rev. Michael Beckwith (from the movie The Secret).
I invite you to read the monolog and then listen to the show (click the link below the text) to learn more about this amazing healing method.
Namaste,
Lisa
Welcome to Shape Shifting! I’m Lisa Bonnice, author of Shape Shifting—reclaiming YOUR perfect body and this show is about shifting the shape of your body and your life into one that is as incredible and expansive as your imagination will allow.
Today my guest is a Stephen Lewis founder and creator of the AIM program of energetic balancing, and Wayne Dyer says about this about his work: "My entire family participates in The AIM Program and I have seen wonderful results. This is real, it is transforming, it is true healing, it is a giant step into the inevitable future where each of us is our own personal transcendental and totally enlightened healer."
Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith, Founder of Agape International Spiritual Center in Los Angeles, and who you’ve seen in the movie The Secret, says "We live at the threshold of a universal recognition that the human being is not mere matter, but a potent energetic field of consciousness. Healing modalities of the past millennium are quickly giving way to programs like The AIM program."
Stephen Lewis will be my guest in just a few minutes to explain exactly how the AIM program works, but first I want to tell an amazing story of synchronicity, about how today’s interview with him has brought me full circle to something I set out to do for myself 16 years ago.
Last fall, as you may know, I was a guest on Steve Rother’s TV show, the Virtual Light Broadcast. While I was there in Las Vegas taping the show, the staff and the hosts all told me about the guest from the previous month, a man I had never heard of, named Stephen Lewis. They talked about how fascinating his work was and that I ought to check it out.
Well, life being what it is, that information sort of got shuffled into a file in the back of my brain, the file marked "for future reference."
Fast forward a couple months. As part of booking guests for the show, I contacted Dr. Eric Pearl’s publicist. Dr. Pearl experienced a miraculous shift in consciousness some years ago, and is now teaching a healing process he calls the Reconnection. While arranging an interview with him, his PR guy suggested another person he represents … Stephen Lewis. I thought, "Oh, yeah! This is the guy they told me about from the Lightworker show! What an amazing coincidence. Sure, send me his stuff and we’ll book a date."
In the meantime, in a seemingly unrelated story, my daughter started looking into working with an amazing organization based out of California, called CosmiKids. I know the founder, Judy Julin and she’s a fantastic woman with a great idea for working with Indigo and Crystal children. My daughter has a couple of those, so it seemed like Cosmikids would be a good fit for her. She called their office, and talked to a woman who … for no reason, out of the blue, apropos of nothing … mentioned that she had originally moved to California to work for a man named Burton Goldberg, the owner of Future Medicine Publishers.
Well this just about blew my daughter away because I used to work for Burton, and that company! Back in 1992, Jeff and I moved to Los Angeles from Chicago. We were both still working as standup comedians and figured that if we’re gonna do it, we might as well move to where the show biz is.
But before we moved, I set an intent that I was going to take full advantage of what the so called "left coast" has to offer, and to start exploring these new methods of healing that we were all hearing about in the Midwest, but couldn’t find because they were a little too woo-woo for Midwestern sensibilities.
Even though we moved to LA to try our luck in the Hollywood machine, we still needed jobs. And I "just happened" to land a job as an editor with Future Medicine Publishers, working for Burton Goldberg. This was an incredible job, one of the best I’ve ever had, because I got to be deeply immersed in the research and experimentation that went along with writing about all of these cutting edge technologies. I learned about energy medicine, acupuncture, herbal and nutritional therapies, applied kinesiology, you name it. One of the coolest things I ever saw was when Burton took me and one of the senior editors to an office in Santa Monica to watch a demonstration of a sort of homeopathy-meets-technology healing method.
How this worked was that the client would hold a small metal cylinder, which was connected by a wire to a computer, in one hand, while the practitioner pressed a metal probe against the thumb on the other hand. Amazingly enough, the computer screen then showed any energy imbalances the client may have, and a sort of homeopathic remedy was created specifically for this person, to bring him or her back into balance. I was seriously impressed and wanted to get a reading of my own. I didn’t get to be the person sitting in the chair because I was the peon in the group, but it was still life-changing to watch. I never looked at the human body or health and medicine the same way again.
Anyway, to bring it back to the present, my daughter and I both thought it was too interesting a coincidence that this woman from Cosmikids should bring up my old boss like that, out of the blue and unprompted, so we both decided to pay attention and watch for whatever would come out of it. We assumed it would have something to do with her working with Cosmikids.
In the meantime, I received a package from Stephen Lewis’ publicist, which included the book Sanctuary—A path to consciousness. As I got into the book, which is a fictionalized version of Stephen’s story that explains how his healing method works, I read about how in the early years he had an office in Santa Monica, and how the early version of his work included his client holding a metal cylinder in one hand while the thumb on the other hand is touched with a metal probe.
Wow.
This, in and of itself, was eye-opening enough, but the fact that Burton’s name had just come up a few days before made me sit up and take extra-special notice.
I talked to Stephen Lewis shortly afterwards, in preparation for today’s show, and he confirmed that he knew Burton, and that he was the same guy I visited that day in long-ago 1992. His method of healing has evolved tremendously since then, and we’ll get into that when he’s here, but I finally had the opportunity to be the one holding out her thumb, so to speak. I sent in my application and information to get started on the AIM program immediately.
In case that’s not enough synchronicity for you, just wait. There’s more!
For the past month or so, I’d been feeling a weird new pain in my left shoulder that made it difficult to sleep on my left side. I don’t know where it came from or what caused it, but it was getting rather annoying because it wasn’t going away. Well, one night when I was getting ready for bed, I raised my arms to put on my pajama top and felt a jarring pain in that shoulder, like I had just pulled it out of its socket. I told Jeff, boy I must be getting old! I just pulled my shoulder out of socket putting on my pajamas! We both sort of laughed it off, but then I turned on the TV to watch The Daily Show and Jon Stewart was waving his arms around all crazy like, and suddenly said, "I just pulled my shoulder out of its socket."
Okay, time to pay attention again.
The next day, I received a call from my AIM facilitator telling me that I had been entered into the program a couple days prior to our call and that my life force number was 7, out of a hundred. It was then that I realized that I didn’t pull my shoulder out of socket; it had actually popped back into place, because it wasn’t hurting anymore. The AIM program was already working.
Wait … it gets better, believe it or not.
I asked my facilitator, a really nice woman named Colleen, if it would be possible to check into the energetic cause of this vertigo I had been suffering from since I was a teenager, just for curiosity’s sake. Normally they don’t do this … nowadays they treat the entire energy system and don’t get into the minute details because it’s no longer necessary … but we’ll get into that later.
Anyway, she checked for me and it turns out that the vertigo is associated with an inherited energy pattern of brain cancer. Later, we’ll get into how the energy frequencies are NOT the same as the disease itself …this doesn’t mean that I have brain cancer, it means that I’ve inherited an energy pattern from an ancestor who carried the same frequency. And there is only one person in my family who has had brain cancer, and that was my grandmother on my dad’s side. She died from it when I was very young.
I listened to one of the CDs about the AIM program, the one about detoxing, and heard Stephen Lewis say that the frequency of cancer is associated with extreme bitterness.
Now I felt like my entire world was being redefined. This vertigo which has flattened me on and off since I was a teen is associated with bitterness, and affects my brain, and comes from my dad’s side of the family. My dad’s side of the family comes from the Mediterranean area of the world, where women are definitely not valued for their brains, and I’ve got tons of them. I’ve been tested at near-genius IQ levels, but that’s not what my upbringing valued. I’ve been fighting bitterness over that inequity my entire life.
It gets even more interesting when I remember that the vertigo began right after I met my future ex-husband, who is an ex because he didn’t value my brains and tried to keep me in a barefoot and pregnant box.
As I spent some time with this realization, and allowed it to wash over me completely, I could feel the pressure in my head releasing. I was able to clearly see, for the first time ever, that this is something I can totally let go of. It’s old news, from an old generation. It’s not even my stuff, it’s stuff that people who didn’t know any better carried with them, out of habit!
Since then, I’ve felt the vertigo slowly decreasing, while a sense of well being becomes more and more prevalent every day. When I talked to my facilitator last week, she told me that my life force, which was originally at 7 out of a hundred, was 25. I can’t wait to see where it goes from here.
I’m ecstatic to be talking about this on the show today, because this is the kind of thing that shape shifting is about … it’s about looking deeper into our lives to discover the fascinating world that lies just under the surface. It’s about looking into our own individual butterfly effects, to discover what far-reaching ripples our actions have on our future selves.
